about

POPDUDES is the long-running power pop inspired side-project for music scribe, John M. Borack and Mike Simmons, leader of Sparkle*Jets U.K. Over the years, they’ve appeared on countless compilations and been recording furiously resulting in their long-awaited debut album 'Maximum Rock Stupidity'. Their version of "Helter Skelter" first appeared on David Bash's International Pop Overthrow Volume 5 compilation through Not Lame Records. The track was part of the original 'It Was 40 Years Ago Today' compilation on Bullseye Records in 2004.
