about

All the Young Dudes
Following a successful run on Elektra Records, transplanted Californians, The Wackers, had made Montreal, Quebece home during the better part of 1972 thru 1974. When Elektra pulled the plug on them and the band fell into disarray, Wackers members Bob Segarini, Kootch Trochim and Wayne Cullen teamed up with former April Wine members Ritchie and David Henman and guitarist Brian Greenway (future April Wine member) to form All the Young Dudes. They recorded one album for Columbia Records called 'We're No Angels' under the truncated handle The Dudes before being dumped in a roster shake-up by Columbia on the cusp of recording a follow-up album. Parts of that album made their way onto the 1997 Pacemaker Records CD entitled "All The Young Dudes - All The Old Demos."
This version of "Please Mr. Postman" pre-dates the Columbia Records signing.

Segarini went on to a solo career, recording four albums: 'Gotta Have Pop', 'On The Radio', 'Goodbye L.A.', and 'Vox Populi'. The first three were remastered and re-issued with bonus tracks by Bullseye Records in 2006.
